Tuesday Market
Our Tuesday market takes place from 8 am until 1 pm every week at the Stockyard site with free entry to the public. This market extends the Melton Mowbray town centre market that trades on the same day just a short walk away. Soak up our most bustling market day, chat with our friendly vendors, and find unique items. For vendors, it costs from £25 per table with an added £10 for any excess tables required. We always encourage new traders to join our friendly and supportive community.
While you are here pay a visit to our Tavern Bar & Café, open from 7 am until 3 pm, known for its cosy atmosphere, friendly service, and delicious locally sourced food.
Friday Market
Friday is our farmers market run by Scarborough Fare every week from 8 am until 12 pm. This market is a more condensed version of our Tuesday market with fresh, flavoursome ingredients direct from the source. Come along to support local farmers, reduce your food miles, and discover the true taste of the season. Whether you are planning a special meal, stocking up for the week, or simply seeking inspiration, Friday’s Farmers Market at The Stockyard is a feast for the senses and a celebration of local produce. We also welcome a few antique and hardware stalls to diversify the market and encourage any other vendors to contact us for more details on obtaining a table.
Sunday Market
Sunday’s market at the Stockyard is a hybrid of a general market and car boot sale. Enjoy the friendly and relaxed atmosphere from 8 am until 12 pm with a £1 entry fee. This market attracts seasoned bargain hunters, lovers of all things vintage, or someone looking for a pleasant way to spend their morning. If you want to sell your own luxuries or unwanted goods, head over to us for £7 a table at Gate 8 (LE13 0NP) before the market commences. This runs every Sunday, excluding Easter Sunday and Remembrance Sunday, with all information and updates provided on our Facebook page.
Special Markets
The Stockyard also hosts a variety of special markets throughout the year, each offering unique experiences and products. These are standalone events like: craft markets, farmers markets, Comicon and Christmas markets or they work alongside livestock sales and Stockyard Saturdays.
